
All about Lumina Vokalensemble
It is a recently formed equal-voice choir composed of approximately 20 singers between the ages of 14 and 35.
The group has performed in venues such as Burgos Cathedral and has shared the stage with artists such as Juan María Esteban (conductor), Jose Carlos Carmona (conductor), Juan M. Barahona (choir director), Emilio González (pianist), and Natalia Korchagina (soprano and winner of the 2012 Salzburg Voice Festival). They have participated in performances at the Iglú Mágico in Burgos, sponsored by Caja de Burgos. During the 2014-15 academic year, they toured eight concerts with the Choir of the Rafael Frühbeck Professional Conservatory in Burgos.

Experience
S sang C. Orff's Carmina Burana and the Mozart Requiem in the participatory performance organized by La Caixa and the Burgos Federation of Choirs in Burgos for Holy Week 2017, sharing the stage with the Gabrieli Consort (London) and its director, Paul McCreesh. She also participated in the world premiere of the opera by the Burgos composer Antonio José at the Fórum de la Evolución in Burgos.
It is also worth noting that since its founding in 2014, it has been a guest choir at the 3rd Villa de Laredo Choral Meeting (Cantabria), has sung at the Musika—Música International Festival of Bilbao at the Euskalduna Palace, and has given various concerts in Ávila, Madrid, La Rioja, Granada, Seville, Ronda (Málaga), Orense Cathedral, the Mosque of Córdoba, and the Basilica of El Escorial.
They carry out extensive charity concerts each year, showcasing their charitable side to Africa and Latin America, collaborating with various NGOs and humanitarian aid missions. They were nominated for a Social Solidarity Award in Burgos in 2018.
For the past three years, they have participated in the "White Night" of Burgos, organized by the City Council. They have been repeatedly invited by Isabel I University to perform at various institutional events. They have also been invited by the Saint Marc Choir of Lyon (boys' choir) to share a concert.
In 2018, they composed part of the original soundtrack for the short film "Mandalah" by director Adriá Pérez Cubillos, which has been presented at various national film festivals. They have consecutively won the Regino Sáinz de la Maza Award in the group category for the past few years, a prize awarded by the Burgos City Council to young talent.
